As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, we'd like to remind you to continue your support of organizations like Look Good...Feel Better that strive to support women (and men and teens) who are undergoing cancer treatment. There are a variety of ways to do so including making donations and volunteering and, of course, by spreading the word about these magnificant programs and their offerings.
Along with group workshops throughout the U.S. (see last week's post), Look Good...Feel Better, a free public service program created to help women cope with the appearance-related changes of cancer treatment, offers an online Beauty Guide featuring new hair looks, a makeup step-by-step, tips on nail care and a FAQ with a variety of information about the organization. You can also follow the organization on Facebook for the latest and greatest program and event updates, and check out its blog.
